There is a very simple formula that gives the sum of the 1st n positive odd integers.
Find the formula and show how you arrived at your answer.
If you can, prove your formula.

Guys you should really try this one out, the answer will surprise you. If you can't find the equation by looking at the pattern then try to apply the method I used on one of my earlier posts.
I didn't elaborate this problem, but I saw in the 11B blog how Jaime did it. The formula is actually really simple. If anyone is interested in finding out, you can try it on your own, or see Jaime's post which is really well done.
